New Partnerships Development Manager

Posted 6 months ago

“Look for the helpers, you will always find people who are helping” - Mr Rogers
At Comic Relief, we couldn’t be a creative agency for social change without the help
of our fantastic global and national corporate partners who donate hundreds of
thousands of pounds to our cause and who are a key component of our major
campaigns.

We’re looking for somebody to look for the helpers, to make the initial pitches and
approaches to targeted brands, business and agencies, converting these initial
meetings into meaningful partnerships.
Of course, with a role like this you will need to be well accustomed to maintaining a
large database of contacts and people of interest, unafraid of picking up the phone,
writing personalised emails or coming up with new and different ways of engaging
with big brands.

That isn’t where this role ends, but we do need the foundations laying before we can
build on them.
You will also be working alongside our Creative Team, producing the best in class
pitch materials to engage with and excite these big brands in meetings that you own
and set up!

You will get to sit with the Brand Partnerships team to consider the range of new
global business opportunities available to Comic Relief and carefully identify and
manage any risk factors associated with this.
You will definitely understand what it’s like to deal directly with senior stakeholders,
to negotiate and finalise high value and multi-faceted corporate partnerships and
relish a challenge.

Come help the helpers and we can give you an environment to thrive in.
Comic Relief positively welcomes, and seeks to ensure we achieve, diversity in our
workforce and that all job applicants and employees receive equal and fair treatment,
regardless of age, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
We encourage applications from disabled people and we will guarantee a first stage
interview to all disabled applicants who sufficiently demonstrate in their application
how they meet the essential criteria for the job as outlined on the person
specification of the job description. Registered charity 326568
