Since 1985 Comic Relief’s mission has always remained clear – to be the disruptor for social justice and change. We’ve successfully raised awareness for the causes that help to support this vision year on year with the support of those who also believe in what we do. In order to continue to have a positive impact on the lives of people who we want to change, we need to transform, and that means starting a new chapter.
We are becoming a creative agency for a social change. An agency that is proud to be bold, confident and even at times edgy. We want to harness creativity to better effect, value our brands, embrace talent, connect globally, engage and empower many more people in our mission. We need the best talent to ensure that we’re continuously learning, growing and inspiring. This is a new chapter for Comic Relief – come and help create the future.
This year we set up our brand new Futures Lab which will support a group of organisations we currently fund to becoming fitter and ready for the future.
To achieve this, The Futures Lab is looking for a Coordinator who will support the Lab’s two Co-Directors & work across the portfolio of grants and initiatives & experiments we run. This is an opportunity to work across Comic Relief’s current portfolio of grants in the UK & Internationally.
You are passionate about social change, well-organised, a great communicator and have a basic understanding of grant making with knowledge of funding/innovation. You want to build your experience and skills in these areas.
Your role will involve providing management and support for organisations we fund, analysing reports we receive, general admin support, managing inbound enquiries and queries and providing feedback to funding applicants. You will work with colleagues to coordinate our work, as well as identify stories that can be documented and shared with partners, colleagues and the public as examples of success.
You will have experience of designing, implementing and managing processes and have strong admin skills, as well as a good understanding of databases and MSOffice. An effective communicator, you will enjoy building relationships and resolving problems. You will have a flexible approach to work and be the sort of person who is passionate about excellence and delivering on commitments.
We positively welcomes, and seeks to ensure we achieve, diversity in our workforce and that all job applicants and employees receive equal and fair treatment, regardless of age, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability or nationality. We encourage applications from disabled people as they are currently under-represented in the organisation and guarantee an interview to all disabled applicants who meet the essential criteria for the job.
