Wisley is the RHS Flagship Garden, attracting over one million visitors to the century old garden in Surrey, where a new chapter is unfolding with over £40 million being invested into the site. Set against the backdrop of 240 acres of stunning landscaped gardens, the Private Events Team Leader will be responsible for booking and delivering a host of exciting and varied private events from weddings, to drinks receptions, product launches, photoshoots and parties. 

The Events Team at Wisley organises up to 10 weddings per year plus up to 100 private events including corporate meetings, parties and fundraisers, commercial photography and filming. In addition the Events Team delivers on average one large scale public event per month. This role will support the Events Team in delivery and administration of these events, with emphasis on the private events. 

As an extremely organised person, you will be able to work on more than one project simultaneously. You will be used to responding promptly and politely to all enquiries to help maximise business for the team. Being experienced in administration, you will support the team to process invoices, prepare documents for external stakeholders and keep spreadsheets up-to-date. As many dealings with internal and external stakeholders are over the phone, you will also use your excellent people skills to answer queries and arrange showrounds, ensuring the highest standard of customer service at all times.
