As Video Editor you will be responsible for editing short form videos for multi-platform distribution and for optimising, organising and preparing files for the web. Critically you will use your expertise and graphic design skills to create content that is on brand and that people want to share on social media. We will look to you to bring ideas to the table, create visual content based on knowledge of design and pop culture as well as collaborate with the brand team on design elements. From creating headers, infographics, type treatments and collages to working with video producers to create intro graphics/animations and other graphic elements you will be at the heart of the action.
You must have extensive experience of editing videos, including editing video for YouTube and other social platforms. Proficient in Adobe Premiere and Adobe CC, you will also have an excellent working knowledge of Premiere, After Effects and Adobe Illustrator as well as familiarity of industry codecs and compression software. An able graphic designer you will have a trained eye for typography and skills Mac-based systems. Being able to animate or illustrate would be a big plus. An effective communicator, you will have a good understanding of pop culture and social media as well as the ability to deliver multiple projects in a collaborative environment.
