International Grants Manager (Jersey Overseas Aid Partnership)

At Comic Relief we’re focused on bringing about real and lasting change by tackling the root causes of poverty and social injustice. Thanks to an amazing new partnership with Jersey Overseas Aid; in 2018 we will be launching a new jointly badged 4-year joint programme; that will aim to bring about genuine financial inclusion for people and communities.
We are now looking for an entrepreneurial grant making professional to help develop, drive forward and deliver this ambitious partnership. You will help to develop the grant making strategy; develop and deliver the grant making models and go onto manage the exciting portfolio of grants; ensuring high quality MEL; and supporting compelling communications to show the impact of this funding to key stakeholders and the British and Jersey public. You will take a lead on bringing a programme to life which has 3 strands; traditional grant making; incubation of tech products and support for wider policy change and advocacy. This role sits across all 4 of Comic Relief’s priority themes.
You must have significant experience in international development with an emphasis on understading the importance of financial inclusion. You must have experience in a variety of grant making and social change methodologies and models. Comfortable building strategic relationships, you will excel at stakeholder management and be able to demonstrate exceptional analytical and decision making abilities. You will also possess strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
