Trips Coordinator

Having gained a good understanding of travel planning, management and booking processes you are now looking for a new role in an organisation where your contribution will be valued and your work will make a real difference. This specialist travel role with Comic Relief is just the opportunity you have been looking for.
As Trips Coordinator you will work across the organisation and with supplier partners to plan and coordinate travel and trip logistics. This will involve overseeing visa requirements, monitoring costs, and ensuring travel is compliant with related policies. You will also need to keep abreast of global safety and security developments and ensure staff our fully prepared and ready for travel. In addition you will record, monitor and report on spending as well as oversee our network of suppliers and partners, including travel agencies and hotels.
You must demonstrate a good understanding of travel planning, management and booking processes and a knowledge of travel risk management would be beneficial. Able to build relationships with key external stakeholders you will possess good communication and time management skills. You will have an eye for detail too. Experience of working in the travel management industry and with medical assistance companies would be an advantage. Familiarity of the GDS system would be beneficial.
