Education Strategy and Resources Manager

At Comic Relief we deliver two of the UK’s largest fundraising campaigns in Red Nose Day and Sport Relief. Thanks to the support of so many amazing people we are able to deliver real and lasting change by tackling the root causes of poverty and social injustice. We now need someone with experience of working in the education sector and developing education strategies to promote understanding of the issues that we support and inspire the education market to fundraise.
As Education Strategy and Resources Manager you will lead the development and delivery of our education strategy for schools, nurseries, youth groups and young people in and out of school as well as take responsibility for producing bespoke fundraising products and marketing materials. You will focus on improving the understanding of our work and inspiring commitment to our vision. Working with our Head of Youth Engagement and Fundraising you will ensure engagement and fundraising activities support campaign activities and objectives. You will identify opportunities within and outside the school and early year’s curriculums to educate teachers on the issues we support and build their understanding of the benefits of taking part in campaigns. Working collaboratively with colleagues across a broad management team you will use your insight and expertise in school fundraising and the UK education sector to inform campaign propositions and education strategies. From overseeing the work suppliers and managing creative development to keeping abreast of relevant initiatives and developments in the market you will be at the heart of our education sector strategy.
You must have experience of working in the education sector and developing education strategies for UK schools and nurseries Able to create inspiring and credible education materials, you are comfortable managing senior stakeholder relationships and collaborating with Marketing, Communications, Strategy and Creative teams to deliver an integrated product. You must also have experience of working with high-profile brands or public sector organisations. A skilled project manager you will be used to managing cross functional teams and meeting deadlines.
