Grants Partnerships Coordinator

Posted 9 months ago

Tackling global poverty through the power of entertainment is a serious business. As organisers of the two of the UK’s largest fundraising campaigns in Red Nose Day and Sport Relief we are committed to ensuring all our resources are genuinely making as big a difference as possible in people’s lives and deliver lasting change. We give people a leg up, not a hand out and as Partnerships Coordinator you will contribute to the development and delivery of Funding Partnerships and will work specifically on one of Comic Relief’s flagship partnerships, The Queen’s Young Leaders Programme.
The Queen’s Young Leaders Programme celebrates the talents of young people across the Commonwealth. You will be acting as integral part of the project team supporting with the shortlisting and due diligence of award winners and managing a small portfolio of grants associated with the programme. As part of the wider Funding Partnerships team you will handle queries from partners and grantees and support the team to deliver on the partnerships we manage. You will arrange various internal meetings, distribute papers, prepare minutes and coordinate follow up actions. You will also provide general admin support to the team, such as organising meetings, booking travel and accommodation and carrying out ad hoc research.
You must have strong admin skills including diary management and minute taking as well as a good understanding of databases and working with IT systems. An effective communicator, you will be good at building relationships and resolving problems. You will have a flexible and solution orientated approach to work too. You will also be the sort of person who is passionate about excellence and delivering on commitments.
Comic Relief positively welcomes, and seeks to ensure we achieve, diversity in our workforce and that all job applicants and employees receive equal and fair treatment, regardless of age, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability or nationality. We encourage applications from disabled people as they are currently under-represented in the organisation and guarantee an interview to all disabled applicants who meet the essential criteria for the job.
