Visitor Services Team Leader

With a current visitor number of approximately 1.2 million a year, RHS Garden Wisley provides an unforgettable experience for a day out. To help our planned growth in visitor numbers we are looking to recruit enthusiastic, welcoming Visitor Services Team Leader to join our dedicated Front of House team.
This is a varied role where you will be leading a team of 10 permanent staff and up to 15 casual Visitor Services Assistants. Through your team you will providing an efficient, high quality welcome to our visitors. You will be the first point of contact to respond to information requests and visitor complaints. 
You and your team will ensure the successful delivery of a fantastic customer experience.   You will promote communication and a can do attitude within your team ensuring all visitors want to return to Wisley. You will have experience in a customer facing environment with an understanding of Health & Safety.  
You should have an eye for commercial opportunities and will ensure that your team exceed RHS Membership sales targets. You will help develop the Group Visit proposition and maximise spends per head as well as exceeding associated attendance targets.   
You will be joining a hard working team within a visitor attraction that rarely stands still for long. Our last two years have been our busiest ever in terms of visitor numbers and with the Key Investment Projects well underway there is every chance that this year will be another record breaker. Enthusiasm and a flexible approach to work are essential, as well as the ability to work well in noisy, high pressured, crowded areas for extended periods.  

37.5 hours per week
Any 5 days out of a 7 day period including Weekends and Bank Holidays
